"Photograph shows the new Waldorf-Astoria, under construction at Park Avenue, 49th and 50th Streets, New York. Looking South on Park Avenue, St. Bartholomew's Church (Left Foreground). The Waldorf-Astoria, now erected to be about one-third of its completed height, will be 625 feet 7 inches when completed October 1st, 1931. The Waldorf will then be the tallest hotel in the world."
