Petula Clark is the first performer to be presented with The Waldorf Oscar. Pet receives roses and congratulations from the "Friends" who sing and dance in her show. Showered with flowers by her legion of fans, Petula has broken all-time records for audience attendance at The Empire Room nightclub of The Waldorf-Astoria."
