Description
The Park Avenue chandelier was installed on Tuesday, February 6th, 1962 as was designed by Joe Travisano upon request by Greene Brothers, Inc., New York City. This chandelier was 10 feet long and 10 feet wide and featured 104 electric candles. It required 31 people to bring this design to live over the course of three months and four days. This chandelier was removed in 2011 upon a recent renovation of the Park Avenue lobby.
