Black and white photograph depicting President Dwight D. Eisenhower with National Football Foundation Chairman Chester LaRoche in the grand ballroom of the Hotel Astor in 1958. Former West Point football player and President Eisenhower took a break from his campaign for re-election to accept the only National Football Foundation Gold Medal to ever be awarded outside of the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel.
