Description

Two black and white photographs, spliced together. One photograph shows Mrs. Douglas Macarthur shaking Barry Rosen's hand. The other shows a sign reading "America's hostages. Welcome Home! Waldorf-Astoria".

A clipping on the reverse of the photograph reads: "Home" in New York for the hostages from Iran and their families was The Waldorf -- with an added treat. They were thrilled to be greeted personally and hostessed by Mrs. Douglas MacArthur. Here hostage Barry Rosen is being greeted by the widow of the legendary World War II five-star general and first post-war Ambassador to Japan.
