Description
In the Summer of 2013, the Waldorf Astoria welcomed over 1,000 new guests with "open" arms. These guests were not your typical guests...no, they were over 1,000 honey bees which were given a new home in our Roof Top Garden. Chef David Garcelon greets Professional Bee-Keeper Andrew Cote as they welcome our new guests to their penthouses on the 20th floor of our hotel. Both the honey and the food, herbs and spices grown on our roof top are all included in our hotel's restuarants. Next time you visit, be sure to have a bite!
