• The first Chamber Magic show at the Waldorf Towers was on September 7, 2001. It was in suite 42R.
• Steve Cohen started practicing magic at age 6 after the teaching from his Great Uncle, Nat Zuckerman, who actually knew Harry Houdini.
• Steve Cohen named his show, Chamber Magic, after the tradition of Parlor Magicians in early 19th century Europe.
• Steve Cohen presents five shows weekly: 2 on Friday night (7pm and 9pm), and 3 on Saturday (2pm, 7pm and 9pm).
• A maximum number of guests permitted into the private shows in the Waldorf Towers is 50. Guests are asked to dress in business attire to help maintain his image of “The Millionaires Magician”.
• Chamber Magic is hosted in one of two suites: 37A or 35H
• The show is 90 minutes long including ten magic demonstrations and storytelling, where Cohen includes history of the Waldorf Astoria.
• High profile guests that have attended Chamber Magic at the Waldorf Towers include; Mayor Bloomberg, Barry Diller, Stephen Sondheim, Woody Allen, Phil Jackson.
• Steve has been invited to perform privately at the Waldorf Towers for the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the Queen of Morocco.
