From the publication "Behind the Scenes at the Waldorf-Astoria", apprentice chefs of the Waldorf-Astoria Kitchen get hands-on experience working with world-renown Chefs.

Obtained from his auto-biography "Peeking Behind the Wallpaper", this photograph shows Arno Schmidt as a young man in the early days of his career as a Chef in Europe.
