Description
Black and white photograph depicting Waldorf=Astoria employees gathered in a champagne toast in honor of Conrad N. Hilton and the Silver Anniversary of the Waldorf=Astoria as a Hilton Hotel. Staff members worked together to create this giant card, which thanked Mr. Hilton for his leadership and inspiration and included the Waldorf=Astoria crest outlined with silver 25-cent pieces (one for each of the celebrated twenty-five years). The envelope was stamped with artist Robert Indiana’s “Love Stampâ€.
