Title
President Roosevelt's Presidential Campaign (1944)
Description
On October 4, 1944, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt began his presidential campaign in New York City. Starting in Ebbets Field, Brooklyn and ending with a luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, this video provides rare and exclusive documentation on Roosevelt's travels. Also, it is worth mentioning that he traveled to New York City on this day via the train car which is still located underneath our hotel.
