Description
Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians performed their last New Year's Eve celebration in 1976; Guy Lombardo would pass away in November of 1977 leaving his nephew Bill Lombardo to take over. Guy Lombardo's live television broadcast was the first locally syndicated performance to come from Times Square in New York City, providing the stepping stones for Dick Clark less than a decade later.
